Fieldtrips are
regularly held on the third Saturday of the month and meet in the parking
lot of the McDonald’s in Pinetop at 7:00 A.M. sharp. Special
trips and afternoon fieldtrips are as scheduled. There are no regular
trips in December, January, or February, but look for our Christmas
Bird Count and other special events during the winter.

2010 Schedule of Events September – December

September 1st- Monthly meeting. Jo Ann Sedillo will give a program on watershed issues on White Mountain Apache Tribal Lands.

September 18th- Field Trip. Silver Creek Fish Hatchery. Meet at Pinetop McDonalds, 7 am. Call Mary Ellen Bittorf, (928) 367-2462, to confirm.

September 23rd- Birding walk. Walk with Mary Ellen at Woodland Lake Park, 8:30 am. Meet at the tennis courts at Woodland Lake Park.

October 6th- Monthly Meeting. Kelly Burke of Grand Canyon Wildlands Council will talk about the work of that organization.

October 16th- Field Trip. Sunrise and other high altitude lakes. Meet at Pinetop McDonalds, 7 am. Call Mary Ellen Bittorf, (928) 367-2462 to confirm.

October 28th- Birding walk. Walk with Mary Ellen at Woodland Lake Park, 8:30 am. Meet at the tennis courts at Woodland Lake Park.

Neils Hansen Lane in Lakeside (turn opposite Navapache Electric’s

FIELDTRIPS meet
